Job Summary


Sanso is seeking a detail-oriented and security-driven Network & Security cum Data Center Engineer to design, deploy, secure, and maintain our internal and cloud-based products, services & infrastructure. You will ensure the secure flow of data across systems, monitor and defend against vulnerabilities, and manage high-performance networking & security desing & implementation within multi-region data centers and cloud architectures.

Security Architecture & Firewall Implementation

  • Design, implement, and maintain next-gen firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architectures
  • Harden Linux servers (Ubuntu/Debian) & CISCO hardware against external/internal threats
  • Enforce E2EE, certificate pinning, encrypted tunnels (VPN, SSH, TLS 1.3)
  • Prevent DDoS, brute force, MITM, spoofing, phishing and network & OSI layer attacks

Network Security & Cybersecurity

  • Architect and enforce network access control, firewall rules, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Monitor and respond to network-based attacks, breaches, and suspicious traffic.
  • Perform regular vulnerability scans, patch management, and security audits.
  • Maintain SIEM systems and collaborate with cybersecurity tools.

Network & Infrastructure Engineering

  • Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure across cloud, office, and data center setups
  • Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, NAT, port forwarding, QoS, and BGP,OSPF, EIGRP, RIP routing (but not limited too)
  • Design secure VPCs and subnets for microservices, APIs, mobile backend, and payment systems
  • Ensure low-latency, high-throughput connectivity for real-time video/audio calls.

Data Center & Server Operations

  • Manage physical and virtual infrastructure in data centers (rack servers, cooling, power, cabling)
  • Oversee server provisioning, bare metal and virtualization layers (KVM, VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V)
  • Implement high availability (HA), failover, and disaster recovery (DR) plans
  • Monitor hardware and environment (temperature, load, fan speeds, uptime)

Secure Communications & Platform Support

  • Support encrypted communications across VoIP/WebRTC
  • Implement end-to-end data encryption, secure tunnels, and access control policies
  • Work with app and firmware developers to build secure OTA updates

Education & Experience Requirement

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, Information Security, or Telecommunications
  • 2-4 years in enterprise networking, data center operations, and network security
  • Hands-on experience in multi-site or hybrid cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with regulated environments (FinTech, Telecom, Communication Messenger)
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Layers, and enterprise switching/routing
  • Proficiency in Linux server management, Bash scripting, and automation tools
  • Experience with remote management protocols, SNMP, and secure shell (SSH) workflows

Technical Skills

  • Firewalls: pfSense, FortiGate, CISCO ASA, UFW/IPTables
  • Web Security: HTTPS, HSTS, Content Security Policy, DDoS protection
  • Servers: NGINX, Apache, MongoDB, Redis, PM2
  • Tools: Wireshark, Metasploit, OpenVAS, Fail2ban, Cloudflare
  • Cloud & Infra: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Hetzner, AWS/GCP, VPS/Private Cloud

    After the probation period, salaries will be reviewed and incremented based on individual performance.

Interview Phases

iii) A final review of your submitted project or task via senior team, where you will show off your Task or Project detailed presentation and demonstrate what you have to offer out of the box expertise of your's.

FAQ

Q. Who issues the work permit?
A. The timeline and results related to the Approval/Rejection of the Work Permit Application is the core decision of the concerned Immigration department of UAE.
Applicant(s) who would be selected/shortlisted for UAE Office of SANSO will be processed for the work permit as per the Govt policies under the sponsorship of SANSO.

Note:
During Probation or regular tenure of your service if you are not performing as per the given task or targets, so company is eligible to fire you as per MOI/MOL laws permissions.
If you breach any policy and involve any serious crime or against company goodwill then your visa will be cancelled & you will be deported back with immediate effect.
